Under Siege

Earlier today, as I was relaxing from an action packed day at work. I noticed an object fly across my room. At first I thought maybe it was a shadow from a bird or something that flew past the window outside. But no. To my horror it was inside my apartment!!! And whatever this thing was it landed on my covers with a "thud". When I jumped to run, barely holding in my scream (I didn't want it to fly in my mouth) it flew away, I noticed a flapping sound of it's wings. After composing myself, I found old magazine heavy (I would have preferred a baseball bat) enough (I think) to do battle with this "thing", I went in search of the "thing". Unfortunately, I was unable to find it. Hopefully, it flew out of one the windows. But in the event that it didn't, I've decided that I'm going to stay awake all night (unitl I feel safe again) just in case it tries to attack me while I sleep. So what's a girl to do at 1 o'clock in the morning? Update her blog of course!!!
