To truly appreciate the good, you must experience the bad. So here are some restaurants that recommend you avoid, due to bad service or food, sometimes both.
Gordon Biersch (garlic fries!!) -this had to be removed from the favorite list, because roaches are NEVER okay. Even if the restaurant is near the bay, as the waitress tried to explain.
La Carreta-the food was just gross
Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers (why would I order a hamburger when I don't eat beef?? I ORDERED CHICKEN- someone should tell the staff not to argue with the customers)
Hooters(I was actually excited to go here, I heard all the hype-I don't appreciate being called "sweetie" by the 18 y/o waitress- I have bras older than you little girl) I wings are all I ever hear about, and they weren't great, heck they weren't even good!!
Galinas (would have been great if my pork chop had been cooked all the way- might have to give them a second chance)
Asqew Grill (haight st)- why don' t they ever have bread!!!!!
Giordano Bros- just YUCK
Gordos (geary st) just rude!!!
Chevy's (3rd st- again I ordered CHICKEN NOT BEEF!!!!) I say hard tacos they bring soft
Peters Cafe- my family loves this place, I've been here twice, sorry fam the food here is gross!!! I'd rather not eat. But the staff is really nice.
Panchos (geary st) how do you manage to mess up mexican food? It's not brain surgery guys. And they are really nice if you're half naked.....
His Lordships- again I was excited to go here so my mom surprised me and brought me here for my b-day weekend. First of all let me just say I hate buffets. The food was nasty, the waitress took offense to the fact that I didn't eat the slop. But really how do you mess up chicken? I felt bad for my mom cause she tried. But the juice was tasty
Da Hukilau (SF)- 1st of all it's not really a restaurant, it's a bar with tables. There is NOTHING hawaiian about this place except the picture of a hawaiian lady hanging on the wall and the surf board on the wall above the bar. The menu had hawaiian style food but it was gross too. And to top it off the band didn't even show up, which was the main reason why we went there.
