My trip to Washington was an amazing experience that I will never forget, but it was a bit stressful. So I was due for some FUN, and REAL good time. So I packed my bags and headed to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and a little southern hospitality.

The fun didn't end there. In addition to parading all over the city, there was a HUGE crawfish & crab boil following the nomtoc parade which went right past my cousins house so we just had to sit outside. I went to my first jook joint.. AND I ate alligator! I just HAD to bring some of that tasty food so I stuffed my suitcase with: stuffed porks chops, stuffed chicken, 10 pounds of JUMBO shrimp which I got for $33, sausage that you can only find in new orleans, and of course KING CAKES.

Tons, and tons of beads below are the "special" ones that I kept for myself, a hornets t-shirt, indian & zulu back scratchers, a voodoo doll, 2 zulu coconuts, a mardi gras pelican, coin purse, whistles, a tomahawk, bracelets, roses, and beads to name a few.
